Thank you for your interest in the Green Gift Shop!  Our goal is to offer green holiday shopping options to make gift-giving a little greener and gentler on the earth.

We encourage you to read the vendor information BEFORE filling out the vendor application. 

What are the Green Gift Shop hours, date and location?

  • Carmel Clay Public Library – 425 E. Main St, Carmel
  • Open to public from 1:30 pm to 7:00 pm
  • Vendor set up begins at 12:30 pm

What products or services are permitted to be sold?

All products or services must be environmentally friendly in some way.  They must be either locally grown or made, organic, natural, recycled, reused or repurposed in some manner to qualify.  We are open to consider other ways in which a product or service is eco-friendly.  Just let us know on your application.  Alcoholic beverages are not permitted in the library

Are there other facts I should know?

  • Although there is no cost to participate in the Green Gift Shop, space will be available for Carmel Green Initiative members only.  You must join us at:   Click here to become a member or renew your membership.
  • All vendors will be able to keep all profits from products sold.
  • Vendors will have their names added to the Carmel Green Initiative’s website.  We can add a picture of your products.
  • Vendors must have an educational component to help attendees learn how your product or service is eco-friendly.
  • Tables & chairs will be provided to all vendors that need it.
  • Wi-Fi is available
  • Electricity is available to limited tables.  If you need access to electric, please let us know on your application.  Please bring an extension cord.
  • Carmel Green Initiative will analyze what we need at the Green Gift Shop in the way of products and services… what we have too much of or what we need more of.  Vendors will be selected based on the entire range of products & services offered.  Our goal is to offer a wide variety of green gifts.
  • Vendors must agree to stay at the Green Gift Shop the entire time.
