As Indiana communities, businesses, and residents increasingly recognize the threat posed by climate change to Hoosiers’ health and livelihood, Indiana University Press and the Environmental Resilience Institute are teaming up on a new book series focused on environmental change—its challenges as well as solutions.
Climate Change and Resilience in Indiana and Beyond gives readers a detailed roadmap for how policymakers, community leaders, and engaged Indiana residents can interpret and navigate the stresses posed by environmental change to the state’s economy and health, while also protecting the natural resources and systems Hoosiers depend on. The first book in the series, “Climate Change and Resilience in Indiana and Beyond.” was available for purchase. Proceeds go to the Environmental Resilience Institute.
Dr. Gabe Filippelli is one of Indiana’s top climate scientists, Executive Director of Indiana University Environmental Resilience Institute, and Chancellor’s Professor, Department of Earth Sciences at IUPUI.
Dr. Filippelli shared his expertise on what Indiana communities & individuals can do to help build a more sustainable and resilient planet.
