It seems like every day, the headlines give us discouraging news… the Environmental Protection Agency being dismantled…solar power incentives being eliminated…global emissions rising…extreme heat and severe weather disasters getting worse. These stories can make us feel that the progress we’ve made is slipping away, leaving us powerless in the face of mounting challenges.
But there is good news! Hoosiers are working at the state and local levels and in the business community to build sustainability and resilience. Janet McCabe, IU environmental policy expert and former EPA deputy administrator, shared insights on recent policy changes and their implications. She also highlighted inspiring efforts already underway, and how each of us can take part in protecting our children’s future.
