Irrigation
What is “Smart Irrigation?”
It is an automated system that uses controllers to adjust watering schedules
based on local climate conditions.
It can reduce water consumption, water bills, and time spent setting up
sprinklers.
It encourages grass roots to deepen, which allows lawns to stay healthy and
green.
Manual Irrigation Tips
Don’t water every day! A single watering every 3-4 days will prevent
overwatering and let the water soak in.
The best time to irrigate is from 4 – 8 am, when water pressure is the highest,
wind has little to no impact, and there is a low chance of water evaporating.
Use 2 – 4 inches of mulch around plants, bushes, and trees to reduce
evaporation, improve water penetration, and control weeds.
